Liquid/Slurry Phase Polymerization

Jacketed reactor, 4 L, made of stainless steel AISI 316, allowable pressure -1/100 bar, temperature -40 to 200 °C. With electric lift, magnetic stirrer clutch, speed controlled motor, gas dosing systems, liquidified gas and liquid dosing, catalyst dosing systems, thermostat with pressurized water up to 160 °C, spill tray. Automated with Siemens S7, Simatic WinCC and recipe control.

Gas-Phase Polymerization reactor

Jacketed stirred reactor with jacketed lid in double kidney shape design with special thin band stirrer for the simulation of fluidized bed conditions similar to industrial gas phase reactors. Batch plant for the simulation of catalysts and process condition influences.
With separate thermostats for the bottom and the lid jacket. Magnetic clutch, speed controlled stirrer drive, gas dosing, liquid and liquidified gas dosing from a tank, liquidified gas dosing from a cylinder with suction line cooling and pump cooling, catalyst- and co-catalyst dosing, pressure control by monomer refill, ratio control of monomer, co-monomer and auxiliary components. Automated with Siemens S7, Simatic WinCC and recipe control.

Emulsion Polymerization, Reactor 20 and 50 L

2 stirred reactors 20 L and 50 L for -11/18 bar and -20 – 200 °C. With speed controlled explosion proof motors, magnetic coupling, hydraulic lift system, feed vessel 10 L /25 bar, dosing system with Coriolis flowmeter and control valve, 2 thermostats for heating, one recooler for cooling, explosion proof design of the plant (without thermostats). Automated with Siemens S7, Simatic WinCC and recipe control.

Reactor 2 L, semi-conical, with quick connector

Stirred reactor 2 L for -1/40 bar and 10 – 175 °C. With speed controlled motor with torque measurement, magnetic coupling, with extra dynamic thermostats for heating and cooling, electric lift system, catalyst dosing system. Automated with Siemens S7, Simatic WinCC and recipe control.

Polyamide Plant, 10 L

Stirred reactor 10 L for -1/25 bar and -10 – 300 °C, with double acting mechanical sealing and electric lift. With strong speed controlled motor, high temperature thermostate, 2 liquid dosing lines with pumps and balances, vacuum pump, trap with liquidified Nitrogen. Automated with Siemens S7, Simatic WinCC and recipe control.
